Danny Ortiz
Director/Coach
Danny served as the Regional Boys Varsity team’s coach from 2012 to 2018. Under his direction, his team won the Clark Tournament, the Midwach B LG, the District, and advanced to the Division 2 State Championships. Now, he is Oakmont Regional High School’s boys varsity coach. The team participated in the Division 3 State Sweet 16 and won the Midwach B Tournament.
Carlos Rosado
Director/Coach
Carlos played for Fitchburg State University from 2004-2005 and served as Notre Dame Prep-assistant Fitchburg’s coach from 2010 until 2015. He has expertise coaching athletes of all ages and is also a co-founder, director, and head coach of the Lions Basketball Club. He coached the junior varsity team at Gardner High School from 2015 to 2017, then from 2017 to 2022. 25 of Carlos’ 45 Division 1 basketball college players are currently playing professionally abroad, and he has coached players who have made it to the NBA.
Andy Pineo
Head Coach
Andy works for NIL Exposure Sports as the Director of Operations and Assistant Principal. He managed foreign recruiting combines alongside longtime Division 1 coach and President of Basketball Scott Spinelli, who had NIL exposure (worked with highly recruited Division 1 players across the country including Team Durant). He coaches the girls’ 7th Grade Lions AAU team, ranked #4 in New England in the National Division. He also directs Leominster Youth Basketball, coaches JV summer and fall leagues, and coaches middle school basketball.
